Re: Moving profiles from SM to Firefox/Thunderbird

I use Windows 7 Home Premium and SM 2.33.1. Thanks. Sad to say I'm thinking along the same lines... I was already told I just had to copy everything in the mozilla/seamonkey/profiles/. directory into the mozilla/thunderbird/profiles/. directory. I'm thinking you'd do the same thing with the mozilla/firefox/profiles/***.*** directory. There'll be files in each that won't be used by the respective software, but you should have everything you need. If you feel brave you can try deleting stuff out of each new directory if you think it isn't needed... but make sure you have backups "just in case." -- Jaime A. I set preferences on the Seamonkey subscription webpage to receive copies of my own posts - like I am just another user, I am sure - with cookies set. Am I fighting another profiles problem? And there are 2 others missing - that I will not repost - moot now. Lost possibly due to an inet problem here with ATT cellular data, & with a Seamonkey profile that went bad. Maybe it is all fixed now. I assume I should receive a copy of what I post/send to the list - like every user does, to confirm, as I selected that option on the preferences webpage. And this post should show up in my inbox too, being I send it to the list. If I receive it, I will know. ... We will see if this mess is fixed.
