Getting hard to see. Control _/+ only controls the opened messages. Lori, as I understand things, your Windows system controls the font size and type used in the message header display area, so you would have to increase the font size used across your Computer to change it in the SeaMonkey Mail & Newsgroups Header section. That should not be necessary. I increased the font sizes in the whole interface by adding code to a userChrome.css file. /* Do not remove the @namespace line -- it's required for correct functioning */ @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul";); /* set default namespace to XUL */ /* Fonts */ window, page, dialog, menu, wizard, prefwindow, tab, statusbar, toolbar, textbox, button { font-size: 15px !important; font-family: Trebuchet MS !important; } You can change the font size and family to suit. You have to build that file yourself, and put it into a chrome subdirectory in your SeaMonkey profile. http://kb.mozillazine.org/UserChrome.css EE, I had thought that should have been possible using UserChrome.css or UserContent.css, but had heard the method I suggested was the only way out! The header area is part of the interface, so you need to use userChrome.css. It is only the message itself that is content. Stop throwing logic at me, EE! ;-) It will not work!! :-P -- Daniel User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:51.0) Gecko/20100101 SeaMonkey/2.48 Build identifier: 20170329183526 Go Dallas Cowgirls!! What are they? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/about-sessionstore/ Quoting that page: Firefox writes the sessionstore.js file to disk every 15 seconds, to be able to restore tabs after a crash or restart. Certain sites can make the sessionstore.js file grow very large leading to poor performance, this addon can help identify which tabs store unusually large amounts of data (form data, DOM sessionStorage, or many subframes/history states). See also: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1057949 Regards. Thank you, Mason, for your insights. Your reply helps me understand the purpose of the file, but it doesn't fully address my concerns. I don't seem to have a "Sessionstore.js" as your reference discussed (but do have a json in many versions). Yes, the format of the file was changed at some point. Hence .js => .json In addition to the json and bak (alone) versions, I have fourteen json versions numbered 1 through 14, with dates stretching back almost six years. It's those I still wonder about. Here's my suggestion. Close SM. Move all the sessionstore files to a temp directory somewhere out of the way. Start SM. Confirm everything is working as usual. You can keep the backups around for a few days, then you can delete them. Regards. Masaon . . . Followed your suggestion. There's been no visible effect so far, so I've deleted the file to which I moved them. Thank you!
