Manager -> Manage Stored Passwords, I don't see these "New, Edit, 
Clone" buttons.

Seems the add-on no longer works. I would look into the error log and 
see if messages are logged there for it during startup on when you click 
a button. Might be an easy fixer or not.

Meant more an easy fix in the add-on code. 2.49.5 is and will be the last 
ESR52 based version. It is dead Jim. But might also be a problem carried over 
to 2.53.x so this might be fixed if the defect is in the SeaMonkey code.

I did read, one of the other responders (Mr Ed or Don, was it??) stated 
that it was functional in 2.53.2, though a later Add-on version!

I am using the "Classic Password Editor 1.1.2" extension, converted 
(chrome://amobrowsing/content/versions.html?host=addons.thunderbird.net&id=866823&beta=false)
in Seamonkey 2.49.5 and it is working perfectly.

SM 2.49.5 On W10 Pro Lenovo Laptop

Hello all,

Getting tense on this side and not from being quarantined either!!!


I have not been able to upgrade from SM 2.49.5 because the email module 
gets blanked out and as such cannot see them unless I place, at random, 
my cursor in the box then that particular account filter will only show 
the email on which it lands.


On three (3) other computers I have with SM and W10 Pro there have been 
no issues with upgrading at all


There may be something obvious which I Am overlooking, now it is time 
for another set of eyes and thoughts...

With 2.53.x Lightbird 0.7.1 can cause this. If safe mode or test profile also 
shows it check video drivers. Intel ones are notoriously bad and should be 
updated to the latest level.

Ping FRG: following development releases

I have a virtual machine where I have the betas for 2.53.3 installed.  I 
don't make a lot of use of that setup (and not enough to do any serious 
bug testing or reporting), although it's useful to see how progress is 
coming along.


I do follow the notes of the developer meetings, and would be interested 
in taking a look at current status of the 2.57 version, as well.


Is there any problem with installing 2.57 to a separate directory, if 
I'm not trying to share a profile between the two releases?

FRG - Thank you for your suggestion. My video drivers were updated with 
the latest version.


I tried to install 2.53.2 and still had the same issue with the mail module.

Also, Sticky Password which is on the Tool Bar is greyed out, I forgot 
to say that.


I have tried dis-abling add-on's as well... to no avail.

Any further suggestions or ideas I need to pursue?

Forwarding a HTML e-mail gets bigger.

I noticed forwarding an incoming HTML e-mail gets lots bigger when I 
sent it out when forwarding (not as an attachment). Example with a 
mailing list e-mail that was about 200 KB in my inbox folder, but it was 
800 KB after forwarding (not as an attachment) in my sent folder. Why is 
that?


Is anyone else noticing this too? Thank you for reading and hopefully

Unable to continue when a HTTPS connection is untrusted?

In the past, SeaMonkey web browser used to ask me to continue or not. I 
did not see any continue on it even though I know the risks. In Firefox 
v76 web browser, it lets me continue. Why did SeaMonkey remove this 
while Firefox still has it?

Maybe not related, but i think windows Defender is more and more 
agressive from some month ago.
Try tu uninstal seamonkey, disabled Defender, install Seamonkey, 
re-activated Defender. Maybe something went wrong first time installation?


I use Seamonkey 2.53.2 on both Destop win 10 Pro and Laptop (Lenovo T61) 
win 10 Pro with shared profil located on a NAS.
I was forced on both computer to add Seamonkey.exe to "allowed" program 
to Dender. It was worling well but without this addition the start of 
Seamonkey windows takes between 5 to 10 minutes. After adding , the 
start have normal speed (a pair of seconds due to network).
