I wasn't seeing posts disappear before, but ironically Ant's reply to
this one ("Missing newsgroup posts") is getting the "Article not found"
error in Mail/News for me here. However, it displays just fine in the
browser interface:

news://news.mozilla.org:119/7dednrs4hoqmrxtdnz2dnuu7-uxnn...@mozilla.org

So, I'd say this is probably a bug in the Mail/News code.

Has SM 2.52 Done Something To Windows Explorer Or Is The Problem Elsewhere?

2020-06-16 Thread Henrik37 via support-seamonkey
Since about the time I installed SM2.52 on my wife's PC, the Windows
Explorer no longer behaves as it used to.

Could the problem be caused by a recent installation of Edge or
something else?

Selecting Windows Update takes one to something new called 'Libraries'
and does not allow a user to thoroughly search through folders and files.

Thanks, in advance, for any advice or pointers to appropriate tutorials.

There's no point reporting something is "slow" unless you have a

It is just you.
You could file a bug if you think it is serious enough, although I'd
go for option 4) - you accidentally hit "delete".

I thought cancel your own newsgroup posts doesn't work in this usenet
server?

That is correct, but you can "delete" any post and then it no longer
appears for you. I have several spam filters for mozilla.general and
mozilla.support.seamonkey, they "delete" posts so that I never get to
see them.
oh, and I removed the reply to mozilla.dev.apps.seamonkey for this post,
I really don't think the developers care.
