Columns mixed up in transmitting e-mails
Hi, I am running Windows 7, with SeaMonkey IMAP e-mail. When I carefully type and send an e-mail, with some important data in columns, the received message has the columns all mixed up, so that the data are often illegible. This just happened again when I was trying to make dates with a pretty girl pianist to go to classical music concerts with me. What can I do to have the e-mail received in exactly the same format as when I send it? Thanks. Hi, I tried system restore, and the PC would not start after that. It took an hour of automatic repair and repeat system restore and biting my nails, until the PC worked again. Re: Cookie handling question
NFN Smith wrote: Frank-Rainer Grahl wrote: These are internal database files. Best you leave them alone or do a full profile backup before fiddling with them. There is at least one extension available which handles them but I would opt for an sqlite external editor and only doing any updates when SeaMonkey is not running. I use https://sqlitestudio.pl/index.rvt when looking at bugs or doing patches. I will concur on that one -- don't touch the contents of an sqlite file, unless you have specific reason to do so. I suppose there *might* be some reason to use an access tool if you're merely examining the contents (e.g., read-only), but ultimately, it's the same sort of thing as the Windows registry. Don't play with things unless you know exactly what you're doing. Smith Hi, Thanks for the several replies. I will do as advised, and not touch those files. Re: Cookie handling question
EE wrote: NFN Smith wrote: I was poking in the cookie manager, and managed to delete all my saved cookie permissions. As a default, I generally let sites set session-level cookies, and then I have things set to flush all my cookies when I shut down Seamonkey. However, there's a number of sites that I really don't want setting cookies, ever, and enough that I don't remember all of them. I went to my backups and restored cookies.sqlite, but it looks like that's not where these settings are, as all the cookie permissions are still gone. I don't see any other cookie-related files in the profile. Thus, the question of where the cookie permissions are stored -- places.sqlite, perhaps, or something else? Smith Bookmarks and history are stored in places.sqlite. Cookies are stored in cookies.sqlite. Cookie permissions are stored in permissions.sqlite. Hi, I tried to look up the 2 sq.lite sites on my Windows 7 P C, and got a notice that Windows cannot handle them. Weird. How do I access these 2 sq.lite files? Thanks. Re: Advertisement Deluge Follow-up w/uBlock Origin== How to delete DuckDuckGo from my hard drive in Windows 10?
Even though I specify Google as my search engine, the darned DuckDuckGo takes over each internet search, in Windows 10. It is not listed under Programs in Control Panel Thanks, . Mort Linder Henrik37 wrote: On my 64 bit Optiplex 780, Win7-Pro, SM 2.40, I loaded uBlock Origin as an 'add on'. One of the things I don't understand is that I am required to enable uBlock Origin every time I open SeaMonkey. If I don't specifically enable uBlock Origin, it seems to remain inoperative. I have never seen an 'add on' before that had to be constantly re-enabled. Is this normal behaviour for uBlock Origin?
