Well, normally the "OE Contacts" Addressbook should be removed from
SeaMonkeys 2.0.1-Addressbooks. See Bug 535528 for more Information.

Jepp, the suspected checkin was on 2009-10-19 in comm-1.9.1, see:
http://hg.mozilla.org/comm-central/rev/67c02f46eab4

But as you can see, the Bug is well-known now, and hopefully fixed in time:

Well, seems so. This is
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=535528

If you don't need the "OE Contacts" Addressbook, deleting this in
SeaMonkey is a propper workaround to avoid the App-Hang.

Ah, sure, sorry that I have missed the point. At least I have imported
some .csv-Files, and not read all of the Dialog. So it was really needed
to start the Migration Wizard via command-line if someone has to import
more than one Profiles-Data.

You can find the Import-Item only in MailNews and Addressbooks
Tools-Menu in SeaMonkey 2.0.x, not from an Browser-Window.

Ja, this was an really bad typo in the translation-files for de-Versions.

There is an Thread about this problem in the german Newsgroup
de.comm.software.mozilla.mailnews

started from Stefan Blumenrath with:

and Fix in:

You can take a look into the fix at:
http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n-mozilla-1.9.1/de/rev/ce02ea85a007

If you don't like to fix the Typo in the "?/seamonkey/chrome/de.jar"
using 7zip (or something similar like Total Commander, WinRar etc.) by
yourself, you can use an current de-Nightly-Build with KaiRos fix.

Hi Mort,

before you copy your "old" and wanted "abook.mab" into your current
Profile-Folder, you have to close SeaMonkey completely, be sure you have
disabled Quick-Start too before.

Using the Windows-Task-Manager, you can look if there is a
"seamonkey.exe" Process still running. If this happen, you can kill the
Process using the Task-Manager.

And if you won't replace your new Addressbook, you can rename the old
one (or the new one) into "abook-1.mab" before copy the File into your
SeaMonkey Profile-Folder.

In Windows 2000 and later Windows-Versions the Directories are hidden by
MS-Default. You have to change this, before you can get easy access to
the Profile-Folder.

Yes, that was really bad. Because Thunderbird 3.0pre has changed
something in the API, the current Enigmail-Nightly-Builds won't work
with SeaMonkey 2.0b1 or SeaMonkey-2.x-Nightly-Builds.

But I have saved some of the Enigmail-Windows-Trunk-Nightlies from
before the API-Change, and this Builds will work fine with the current
SeaMonkey 2.0 Nightly-Builds (and the Beta 1 too), but sure without a
complete localization.

I can send you a copy of an working
Eingmail-Windows-Trunk-Nightly-Build, if you like to get it.

Just E-Mail me, or answer here.

I don't think so. I have tried to reproduce your glitch, and the message
was copied successful into the IMAP-Accounts-Sent-Folder without any
Errors.

In the Account-Settings I have set "Copies & Folders"
"When sending messages, automatically:
  [x] Place a copy in:
  [x] "Sent" Folder on: [imap-acco...@mailaddress]

I never had used something suspicous like an "Global Inbox" or things
like that, and "Local Folders" were only used for my Newsgrop-Accounts.

Me neither.

First step. ;-)

> thanks for any hint

Hmm, whats the name of your IMAP-Accounts Sent-Folder, did it match the
name of the Sent-Folder from your Server? Maybe there was something like
an "~" to much in the name, there are some Articles in mozillazines KB
about IMAP-Folder-Names.

Btw., when I try to follow your steps to reproduce, SeaMonkey crashed
twice [@ nsPurpleBuffer::Put(nsISupports*)], bp-IDs:
abdb9f7f-1e6c-4db7-9971-65a222090702
7319c74c-16ff-4af5-b69b-584a02090702

when I compose a new Message and type into the To: Filed. I have never
seen crashes like this before in SeaMonkey.

What are your settings for Synchronisatzion & Storage?

Normally you can close Tabs with an middleclick on the Tab, so an extra
Close-Button was not really needed.

But maybe the Add-On "Tab Clicking Options"
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/260
will add an Close-Button into the Tabs.
