To me, the most simple way to transfer only bookmarks would be to export them into bookmarks.html, transfer that file, and then import from that file. If you use the HTML export (bookmarks.html), you will lose some information (at least tags; probably also special folders and favicons). The better alternative for a complete transfer would be Tools/Export (JSON) - Tools/Restore/Choose File. Both should work, but in my eyes the best way to transfer bookmarks, history, and password data, even a number of preference settings, is to activate SeaMonkey Sync (should be available from both the Tools menu and from preferences) on both installations. To me, the most simple way to transfer only bookmarks would be to export them into bookmarks.html, transfer that file, and then import from that file. However, I think (but not sure) that will erase any existing bookmarks on the target PC. If you want to maintain any differences in bookmarks, then use SeaMonkey Sync. -- David E. As i did it such way, the imported bookmarks were like a suffix behind the older ones. -- Liebe Grüße, Gerd Satelliten FAQ, PC-Tipps, Katzen, Mopped, Garten, Heimwerken: http://www.satgerd.de/ ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
