Tom, a possible work around would be to export your SM bookmarks each time you close SM by setting browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML to true in about:config. Then you might be able to import the HTML file into IE. Thanks. That's what I'm trying to do, but not all the bookmarks transfer. There are several folders that come into IE as blank. Is there any commonality between the folders that don't get copied?? Can you think reason why they might not copy?? If you have lists with-in your bookmarks, I expect they will not copy, but otherwise There are about 5 folders that transfer over empty, always the same ones. No reason I can see for it. They look no different than all my other folders. Does it export(to html) well if try using Bookmarks manager ? (ctrl+b) ==> Tools ==> Export HTML ? Same result - some folders are empty. Looks like the best solution is to add SM's bookmarks.htm page to IE as a Favorite. Easy to access and always updated by SM. A pretty good idea ... but don't forget that if you want to modify bookmarks entries to do it using SM - Avoid changing by hant the bookmarks.htm file :-) ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

In the days before bookmarks got moved from s. imple HTML to SQLite, I got in the habit of doing that for all of the browsers I have installed. Although an HTML file isn't quite as convenient as using the browser's own bookmarks tool, it's an easy way of making sure that all my browsers have the same bookmarks available to them.
