Did you change your view settings? If I want to, I can display posts 
going back to 2006, but I normally hide them by showing only threads 
with unread posts.

New or expired? If expired, most likely posts deleted by the moderator.

I have been seeing several expired posts lately.

I changed nothing.  And coincidentally, in this same block of posts, I 
received my own post that I submitted a week ago when I joined the list.

just for clarification of the issueI'm stuck on received...you 
don't receive news, you receive mail.


Are you saying when you view the group, posts are duplicated?  Or that 
you still see posts you already read (cuz that's normal)

mailing list, so would in fact get the emails.
