Well, it seems that the problem is resolved. I downloaded version 2.47a,
all of the Twitter videos that I checked worked perfectly.

Seamonkey and Twitter videos

2016-08-18 Thread Jerry
Hello,

I am running Ubuntu-Studio 16.04.1 64bit fully updated on my Lenovo
X140e 11.6 inch notebook. When I open Firefox and go to Twitter all of
the videos play normally. When I open Seamonkey and look at the same
exact video, all I get is the audio, video does not play.

I am using Seamonkey 2.40 64bit. I installed it by downloading the
tar.gz file for 64 bit Linux and extracting it to ~/opt/seamonkey.

My point is, that right now, on this machine, in Ubuntu-Studio, all of
the software/plugins exist to play these videos. Firefox plays them just
fine, why doesn't Seamonkey do the same? I have searched all through the
settings in Seamonkey but I can't find anything to fix this. Anybody
have any pointers?

Thanks

".14" is SM 2.0.14, same as you're using. "WFM" is "works for me". XPSP3
here, so YMMV. -JW

".14" mean? I am using Windows 7 64 bit.
