Re: [biofuel] do onto others...
Sorry, chaps and chapesses, but my original limerick verse was on topic - an aide memoir to the fact that wind power is unreliable/intermittent. But thanks for reminding me of a few more of the verses. I'll revert to my more usual monosyllabic responses, for the future - promise! Hi Dick Good points, well taken - though it'd be a bit premature to send anyone on a long vacation. But did you have to go and pin the entire digest on the end?? Kind of undercut your basic message, I think! Actually, did anyone who unsubscribed complain about the frivolity? I think they complained about eco-babble and the "100+" messages a day. But, well, if they didn't they should have. Re: [biofuel] do onto others...
Hi Keith, Check this out.. I have 3600 some odd messages UNREAD, 90% of it is from this discussion. I just skim the messages looking for stuff I am interested in and skip the poetry or the latest ongoing argument. I think most who leave are just "overwhelmed". I think they feel they need to read every last Post an some are more interested in scientific answers to their questions. Either way I really like some of the creativity people share when they get to making their own bio-diesel. It's great stuff.. Now if I could just get it fully automated so I didn't have to do any work at all then I would have it made...:) Cheers.. --Bryan > > Hi Dick > > Good points, well taken - though it'd be a bit premature to send > anyone on a long vacation. when problems of import cloud your mind rest your face in a fat behind it's like exercise, not much fun for some, lots of fun for others, but you live longer, and besides, you complain about bandwidth, didn't you send the entire digest with all the offending messages. the central limerick as i see it requires much thought and character to understand it, most people who subscribe to this list seem to be smart and of high character. we can't develop high character without humour, regardless of where that humour comes from it leads us to think about our foibles, after all one of the biggest laughs is alcohol, we're allowed to buy all we want but not make it, and if we do make it, it's illegal to drink it. life can be funny and we can't be dead serious all the time, my favourite joke subject is christians, imagine, only one god, how silly can a religion get? perhaps you can send the whole thing when you remember it to the joke of the day list.
