[svg-developers] Limitations of Adobe SVG Viewer
Hi, Is anyone aware of any limitations of Adobe SVG Viewer concerning file size or memory size. I generate large SVG files (500kB), with many levels of elements embedded inside g tags, but I notice that the screen goes blank after a certain number of elements, and a certain canvas size. [svg-developers] Saving SVG to User's Machine
Hi all, I want to put a command in a Web page to save the contents of an SVG document to a file in the user's machine. Basically it should open a Dialog to let the user specify the location of the file. Users will be running Windows and Internet Explorer 6. Any idea how can I do that? Thanks, Hektor Konomi frogware, inc 477 richmond street west, suite 210 toronto, on m5v 3e7 tel.: 416 216 4700 ext. 170 fax: 416.216.4666 e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] - To unsubscribe send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -or- visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/svg-developers and click edit my membership Yahoo! [svg-developers] Printing Complex Multiple Page SVG Document
Hi everyone, I need to print large multiple-page SVG documents. I know that Adobe SVG Viewer distorts the SVG document to fill all the page. I must use Adobe SVG Viewer, as it is company policy, but the SVG in question is inside a WinForms application, so I was thinking of alternative ways of doing it. One possible way would be to save the SVG document as a PDF document and print that. The only thing that does that is a script at www.kevlindev.com, but that only creates one page, so it is not very helpful. Do you know of any other alternatives? Another, more likely way, is to save the SVG document as a GIF or PNG image. That way, I can more easily manipulate and print it. (I also need to add headers and footers, page numbers, etc.) Do you know of any library, or piece of code that does that? Thank you in advance for your help, Hektor Konomi frogware, inc 477 richmond street west, suite 210 toronto, on m5v 3e7 tel.: 416 216 4700 ext.
