Re: [Swlfest] Shortwave for Good panelists?
Hi Guys, Keith here. It was me who was talking about how we are using simple wifi radios and FM transmitters from 5watts up to 100 in some areas to reach some islands in the Pacific. Given that comment I thought you might like to know I signed on to this newsletter just to keep up to date on developments with the Fest, which I was not aware of until recently. I'm glad I signed up though; I've been enjoying the conversations! Dale New Hampshire On May 8, 2012, at 9:28 AM, jfigl...@nycap.rr.com wrote: Wow! Somebody takes notes at the Fest? Re: [Swlfest] Shortwave for Good panelists?
Ah, but networking is always encouraged, Mano - connections that have the common thread of radio -- however one defines it -- are certainly germane for the group! And, after all, the session in questions - Shortwave For Good - was all about using radio to reach prospective audiences that were not well served, and incorporated brainstorming as part of the discussion. So I got no complaints about the discussion here...RC On Tue, May 8, 2012 at 4:57 PM, Mano Guha mano...@yahoo.com wrote: And I thought this was a place where hobbyists interacted, in which we did not schmooze for future clients... ___ Swlfest mailing list Swlfest@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/swlfest To unsubscribe: Send an E-mail to swlfest-requ...@hard-core-dx.com?subject=unsubscribe, or visit the URL shown above.
