[sword-devel] Help for lemma in OSIS
Hi, There are at least two modules (TischMorph BIBdraft) which allows to display the numbers of strongs, the lemmas and the morphology. I would like to create a new module with these entries in an osis file. The two modules I'm talking about are in imp and thml format and in xiphos I have no problem displaying either the strongs or the lemmas or the morph or all at the same time. On the other hand, if I build my osis file, and I integrate the strong and the lemmas in this way: Βίβλος xiphos can't not displaying the lemma, even when the option is unchecked, I have the lemma displayed after the bible word between <> like this: Βίβλος<[This> γενέσεως Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ υἱοῦ<[the]> Δαυὶδ υἱοῦ<[the]> Ἀβραάμ My question is first is this the right way to form the tags in the osis file? If so is it a xiphos bug? I tried also this way in the osis : lemma="strong:G976" "lemma=[This is the] record" Thank you for the help, br Cyrille ||___ sword-devel mailing list: sword-devel@crosswire.org http://crosswire.org/mailman/listinfo/sword-devel Instructions to unsubscribe/change your settings at above page

In any case in my conf file I have the entry that concerns the display of lemmas (GlobalOptionFilter=OSISStrongs GlobalOptionFilter=OSISMorph GlobalOptionFilter=OSISLemma). Moreover if I have only the lemma in my osis file without the strongs, then the display is done well. So I have another question, are spaces tolerated in the lemma in case of multiple matches to a Greek word? Re: [sword-devel] Help for lemma in OSIS
I just took a look at the KJV, I saw that lemma is followed by a module name, so I put as in the KJV the name of the TR module after lemma (lemma.TR:myword), and miracle it displays correctly. So I don't mind adding this, it's fine for Greek, but for other languages what do you advise me to add? Refer to the developers wiki page. The workID must be declared in the OSIS header.
