[symfony-users] CMS written in Symfony / Call for help
Hi All, A quick message to announce a project some of us here at my company have been working on. Steer CMS, a light yet powerful content management system we've put together - built entirely on Symfony. I won't divulge into too much detail here - the first post in the news section should explain more: http://www.steercms-project.org/news/blog/2008/01/03/moo-moo-here-we-are Still in it's infancy - always more to do :) - but I'll throw it out there anyway - I think it will be a nice addition to the Symfony community. Anyway, hope you like it and be sure to send us your thoughts and comments. http://www.steercms-project.org - Piers --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups symfony users group. [symfony-users] Fatal error: Class DBMySQL
I got this error when try to open my application di dev environtment (http://localhost/myapp_dev.php/) Fatal error: Class DBMySQL contains 2 abstract methods and must therefore be declared abstract or implement the remaining methods (DBAdapter::applyLimit, DBAdapter::random) in F:\www\sia\lib\vendor\propel\adapter\DBMySQL.php on line 133 I'm using symfony 1.0 from svn and sfPropel13Plugin. This is my first time using sfPropel13Plugin. This is just testing, so what I've done are making a model (propel-13-build-schema, propel-13-build-model), then init-project, init-app, And I do propel-13-init-admin. I edit file web\index.php (change line 5 to define('SF_ENVIRONMENT', 'dev');). (I think it has no effect because I open http://localhost/myapp_dev.php/) There's no more editing. I've try to clear cache but I still got a same result. And now I have no idea what should I do. -- -husain- --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups symfony users group. Hi François, This looks very promising. Congratulations for your work! Thanks, more work to be done, but we're are very happy with it's progress, it was real fun to do in Symfony. [symfony-users] Issue while setting up sfSimpleForum_PayloadFilterChainPlugin
Hi there, When it comes to Symfony, I'm a total newbie using this framework. Therefore, a couple of days ago, I downloaded the current stable version of it and started to play around with it. However, I'm now getting to my first show stopper in my short experience :) I could successfully setup the sfSimpleForumPlugin and make it work on my prototype application. So I decided to then focus on implementing the sfSimpleForum_PayloadFilterChainPlugin in order to make it even better. However, despite I installed all the dependencies and followed carefully the plugin README info, I cannot make it work. In fact, after a successful propel-build-all and a clear-cache, the CLI is raising an error when I try to refresh the whole data set by triggering the following command : symfony propel-load-data frontend Here is the error message I'm getting then : Fatal error: Class 'sfSimpleForumPostPayload' not found in XXX\plugins \sfSimpleForum_PayloadFilterChainPlugin\lib \sfSimpleForumPostPfcHooks.class.php on line 30 After looking through the online documentation for this plugin, I found out in the changelogs that the sfSimpleForumPostPayload class has been taken out from sfSimpleForum_PayloadFilterChainPlugin and should be now shipped with sfSimpleForumPlugin itself. I then looked through the different available versions of sfSimpleForumPlugin on the SVN and could not find any including the missing class code. Maybe I missed a point so I would be very glad if any of you could help me with this issue. For information, here is a summary of my dev environment setup : Apache 2.2.6 PHP 5.2.5 MySQL 5.0.45 Symfony 1.0.10 sfSimpleForumPlugin 0.6.5 sfPayloadFilterChainPlugin 0.1.0 sfPayloadFilterChain_TextTransformationPlugin 0.2.1 sfSimpleForum_PayloadFilterChainPlugin 0.6.0 Thanks in advance for any support you can provide. [symfony-users] sfDoctrine Attributes
I wanted my enum fields to use mysql enums so I created the following doctrine.yml: all: attributes: #use mysql enums instead of int use_native_enum: true This didn't effect it. I checked out sfDoctrineDatabase and added print_r($this-_doctrineConnection-getAttributes()); to the end of the initialize() and get: [112] = INNODB [117] = 1 [140] = 7 [107] = [101] = [100] = Doctrine_EventListener_Chain Object Which shows USE_NATIVE_ENUM (117) being set but if I add print_r($this- conn-getAttributes()); to the enum creation section section in Doctrine_DataDict_Mysql the attributes set in doctrine.yml's aren't there. All I get is: [112] = INNODB If I manually add $this-setAttribute(Doctrine::ATTR_USE_NATIVE_ENUM, true); to the Doctrine_Connection_Mysql class it works fine. Anyone know what I must be doing wrong in the config? Thanks, Michael --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups symfony users group. [symfony-users] Re: sfDoctrine Attributes
Setting attribute from doctrine.yml is semi-broken and quirky currently. It is in the process of being addressed. Until then please just set attributes manually at the code level. [symfony-users] lucene
Hey, Its been a while since I posted here. Any advice at how to go in-depth with zend lucene? Their manual is nice, but just doesn't cover the harder stuff. [symfony-users] Re: lucene
One thing in particular has been a surprise to me. On a Text field a search on 42PFL9632D gives: 42PFL9632D and 37PFL9732D as 100% relevant results Maybe this has something to do with the query parsing, or is it just a bug? --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups symfony users group. [symfony-users] Re: lucene
Hey, Check out sfLucene, which integrates Zend Search Lucene into your symfony application: http://trac.symfony-project.com/wiki/sfLucenePlugin For your particular problem, you have to tell Zend Search Lucene to use a number analyzer. By default, Zend Search Lucene does not index numbers. On Jan 11, 3:15 pm, Thierry [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: One thing in particular has been a surprise to me. [symfony-users] Re: sfDoctrinePlugin doctrine-build-sql throws exception
Well, I nuked everything, started from scratch again, re-init my symfony project (1.0.10), used sfDoctrinePlugin from here: http://svn.symfony-project.com/plugins/sfDoctrinePlugin/branches/1.0, created a very simple schema: Person: columns: title: type: string(255) doctrine-build-model works fine. doctrine-build-sql throws exactly as above.
