I'm in the same boat. I'm subscribed to dyestat, letsrun, and peruse trackandfield from time-to-time; but given the unmoderated nature and continual start of unuseful (IMO) threads, I tend to pass most of the time. I loved it between 3 and 10 years ago (I started on this list about 10 years ago) when people like Walt posted pertinent information quickly and accurately. It was an efficient use of time and a great forum. Realistically, we'll never see its like again, and I bemoan it as well. --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I loved the list as it was a few years ago. RE: t-and-f: Where did the list go?
Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Jump to: navigation, search Bala Cynwyd is a village in Lower Merion Township which is located in the Main Line in southeastern Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia. It was originally two separate towns, Bala and Cynwyd, but is commonly treated as a single community. This came about when a single US Post Office was constructed to service both towns (The Bala-Cynwyd Branch). It lies in the Welsh Tract, and was settled in the 1680s by Welsh Quaker settlers, who named it after the Welsh towns of Bala and Cynwyd. Cynwyd is, however, now pronounced kinwid, not kunwid as it would be in Welsh, and not kinwood as a previous editor had stated, though locals tend to pronounce it incorrectly as kinwood. -Original Message- From: Trey Jackson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, January 26, 2006 12:59 AM To: malmo; [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: t-and-f@lists.uoregon.edu Subject: Re: t-and-f: Where did the list go?
