What it does it gets rid of the windows 10 updates and stuff plus the get windows 10 out of the task bar. It is completely free and accessible. I have used it it works great. It is one of those things where you set it up and you kind of forget about it. Just do a Google search for the program. Once you download it go in to the program and just hit enter. Once you are in there, you want to tab around and look for prevent windows 10 updates and upgrades . It says something like that, but just hit enter on that hope everything can be fixed for you with that program. I even went in to the update settings with in the program and the radio buttons are all set up for you and checked so it only installs updates for windows 7. I hope it is something you are looking for. Hope I could help out. Once you are done with the program just close it. It is mainly a interface where you use the tab key to cycle through the different settings. Can't remember your password? Do you need a strong and secure password? Use Password manager! Re: Becky q
Here's the two steps to take. Becky works very well but you need to change two settings. In the Tools, General setup dialog on the Message View tab, uncheck the "Control four-way button with arrow keys" check box and the cursor will work when you are reading messages. In the Editor tab in the same dialog, uncheck the Display line pointer option which, if checked, can cover up the first character. Good luck. ___ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared. Hi Chris: As far as I know, the only way to do this, if you do not want to by a cd from AIsquare with the latest update, is have kept all your upgrade files from the last major upgrade. Not verry helpful, perhaps, but that's the best you can do as far as I know. Can one download installation files for earlier versions?
Long story short, I may have managed to find an older desktop that I can borrow until I can get myself a new computer. When I get the computer, I can get it up to 8.4, but need to get up to 9.4 and have done my updates through the automatic system, which doesn’t leave me any copies of the update files for those versions. I would like to know if I can download these files so that I can get the updates done since I am warned that I need to have a newer version installed in order to do the latest update to 9.4. I also would like to know If one can purchase a full install disc for the latest version. I thought that the major version upgrades came with such discs, but starting the uinstallation gives the same warning as with all updates about how one must already have a previous version installed to do the update. I find using multiple update discs is fine for upgrading, but I also find that to be a frustrating time consumer when setting up a new system or doing a fresh wipe and reinstall of the OS, something I like to do every once in a while. I would like to have a full version disc for major version updates, and it would really be nice if we could get discs with the full latest version whenever an update costs an SMA and rates a disc.
