Re: problem using Windows Live Mail
Hi, Bill, I got a message from the WE discussion list. I probably didn't completely understand your instructions yesterday, but Kitty did. I found out that the semicolon gets added automatically, so we're good. Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve tried sending a message with multiple names. When I type in one or sometimes two letters, I hear the appropriate email address pronounced by Window-eyes. I was advised to place a semicolon after each name, and to separate them by a return. I did that. selecting text in e-mails to copy and paste
Since upgrading to the latest version of Window-eyes and the recent Windows 10, I don't seem able to select text in e-mails to copy etc. I've tried the old way of just selecting text and the more recent way of using f8 but neither seems to work. Any ideas? Alison ___ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared. Re: problem using Windows Live Mail
no, do not put a simi colon. it is generated automatically when you press enter on the name you want to use. then start typeing the next name. the reason it says no name found is you are typeing in the second simicolon and wlm is looking for a blank address which it can not find. -Original Message- From: Kim Lingo via Talk Sent: Thursday, August 11, 2016 10:08 AM To: Window-Eyes Discussion List Cc: Bill Zimmermann Subject: problem using Windows Live Mail I am having a problem using Windows Live Mail which I just had installed on my new(er) computer. try pressing "control y" a folder list will show up and you can use the starting letter of each folder. cheers IC - Original Message - From: "Charles Short via Talk" To: Sent: Thursday, August 11, 2016 10:15 AM Subject: an easier way to get to my folders in outlook 2016 Hello listers, whenever I shift tab, Window-Eyes says, "current mailbox closed menu item." I liked the way how I used to get to my folders simply by pressing the corresponding letter of the folder, e.g pressing s would get me to the sent items folder, etc. How can I get back to doing that? Do I have to do a complete uninstall of outlook '16?
