Re: Future of WE
I use NVDA quite a bit here. Only issue that I have is that Duxbury doesn't work well with it and I really need both Perky Duck and Duxbury right now. I use jaws at work with Perky Duck and Duxbury so I may get it for that reason unless someone comes up with a decent add-in for NVDA. -- Rebecca Ilniski and guide dog Zeb email: rilni...@gmail.com ___ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared. help with perky duck or duxbury
Hi all. Am using the latest version of Window-eyes and have downloaded the Duxbury app from app central that is supposed to work with Perky Duck as well. I can't seem to find much documentation on keystrokes or how this is supposed to work but when I go in to Perky Duck to type something my braille characters are not spoken correctly. If I use my arrow keys I can hear my characters. Any information on Duxbury with Window-eyes would be appreciated. I'm taking the nls braille course and NVDA does not work with Duxbury and can't figure out about Window-eyes and how that works with Duxbury. I use Jaws at work and know how to use these two programs. Thanks for any help you can give or point me to some documentation would also be appreciated. I didn't see too much on the gwmicro website. -- Rebecca and Zeb email: rilni...@gmail.com ___ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared. reading emails in Outlook 2016
Hi. I have configured outlook correctly and am wondering what I can do to actually get window-eyes to read the message body. It just reads all of the header info when I hit enter on the message and tells me whether a message is in plain text or .html. I'm using window-eyes 9.5.1 and windows 10 with outlook 2016. using window-eyes 9.3.1 to navigate difficult web sites
Hi. I have the latest version of we on a windows 7 64 bit laptop. I occassionally do surveys online and find that some of the web sites are difficult to navigate with we either because the questions aren't reading correctly or graphics are not labeled. Also there's one site I use www.instantcashsweepstakes.com that I can answer the first question out of the 3 but when I try to answer the second or third the choices are not visible. What settings in we do I need to have enabled to read web pages that are difficult or don't read correctly? I could be doing surveys on www.tellwut.com and some of the surveys that are third party don't have the graphics labeled in som eof the questions choices. I listened to navigating the web with we on the gwmicro website under window-eyes tutorials. Is there any other resource I may need or update? I did make sure my firefox was updated and the adobe flash plug-in keeps crashing which may be an issue I don't know. Any ideas would be appreciated. I also did listen to using the mouse with we also. web browsing with window-eyes 9.2
Hello all. I'm using window-eyes 9.2 with the latest version of firefox. When I open Firefox Window-eyes does not automatically start reading the web page like it did in previous versions. If I tab around the screen it doesn't read page elements for me. If I hit control shift a to toggle browse mode on or off it says browse mode not available. I tried refreshing the page with f 5 and have tried other browsers like Chrome and Internet Explorer and get the same results. Any idea as to what could be happening? I even tried uninstalling window-eyes completely from my system and did a clean installation of it. Any help would be appreciated. -- Rebecca and Zeb email: rilni...@gmail.com ___ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
