Re: Outlook 2007 Question

2017-08-13 Thread Lloyd Rasmussen via Talk

Au contrair!
On my wife's computer, (Windows 7) JAWS 18 crashes everything if she does a
spell-check in Word 2007 or Outlook 2007. V F O recommends we get newer
software because a support person told me that they don't test for
compatibility with software which is that old.
We had JAWS 17, which we bought at the NFB convention a year ago.
Spell-check works properly in Word 2007, and works once or twice per session
in Outlook 2007. Of course, Window-Eyes 9.5.4 has SET files specifically for
these programs, and spell-check works. Not as interested in whether it
reports the read status of the messages.

Outlook 2007 Question

2017-05-28 Thread Pastor Gil Pries via Talk
Hi Listers,

There is something weird going on with Outlook 2007.

When I am in the in-box, instead of saying, "There are no items in this
view," Jaws 18 says, "Ere are no items in this view."

I think Jaws is not seeing the t h in there.

Is there any way I can fix this?

Another Outlook2007 question:

If I want to collapse an entire thread and delete, how do I do this?

Example: Suppose there are TEN messages in a thread that I am NOT
interested in reading; with the good old Outlook Express, a press of the
Left Arrow to collapse all messages in a thread will do this for me; I can't
find the same equivalent using Outlook2007.

Much thanks for all help!!

Make sure received is selected in the Sort by
Hit the Tab key

Dear List:
I have migrated from outlook express to outlook 2007. With my outlook
express, my messages were arranged with the oldest on the top in date
ascending order so that the newest were at the end. However, with my
outlook 2007, the newest are listed first. How do I reverse this to get the
latest listed at the end? Thanks. Regards: Ted Larson
