Re: Windows 10, all folders view set to list or details
After doing this on the desktop, I had to go out of the folder and back in before I saw anything. You can always do this using the view menu -- I think under folder toptions. RE: Windows 10, all folders view set to list or details
Hi again Rebecca: First, I think there 2 dons in the list, however, I still cannot get the control shift and neither 5. 4. 3 . 6.or any of the keys to give me info. I am using the latest update of windows 10 I opened the documents folder , tried the above key strokes and not the info you mentioned. Perhaps some setting in windows 10? I can live without the commands but, I do like the result you get. RE: Windows 10, all folders view set to list or details
Hi Martha, The easiest way to set any view to details in Windows 10 and 8.1, whether on the desktop or in Documents, Downloads, Music, etc. is to press control-shift 6. The numbers across the top of the keyboard when used with the control-shift keys go from 1 extra large icons 2 large icons 3 medium icons 4 small icons 5 list 6 details HTH.
