Instead, Word only provides one or more suggestions that you can use to replace the grammatically incorrect text. RE: word 2013 spell and gramar check
Hi Darrell, In the example you provided, you can use the Window-Eyes Mouse hotkeys to read the explanation that is provided in the Grammar pane. Also, I do get suggestions in the context menu for this type of error. For example, I have the text: "This is a test" in my document. Word flagged the error and when I moved to the error and opened the context menu, the first and only suggestion was "a test". It would be nice if Microsoft made all of the text displayed in the Grammar and Spelling panes easier to access with traditional keyboard navigating and reading techniques but that is something that is out of our control. Hi, If it is extra space between words, try turning on format alert. Insert-5 or control-alt-shift-f. This will tell you if words have more than one space. You can toggle it on/off at will. RE: word 2013 spell and gramar check
Once you get to the error, use the application key to pull down a list of options. Sometimes I still find I need to read the sentence or a few words before the error to decide which is the correction options. -Original Message- From: Talk [mailto:talk-bounces+robin_van_lant=key@lists.window-eyes.com] On Behalf Of Darrell Bowles via Talk Sent: Wednesday, June 24, 2015 10:44 AM To: Window-Eyes Discussion List Subject: word 2013 spell and gramar check I know you can navigate the spelling and gramar errors with window-eyes, but how do you get your gramar errors explained? If this is not possible, then AI squared should address the accessibility with the Word user interface in a future version of window-eyes.
