Re: We certificates
Hi Kevin, thanks for your note. It has been two years since I began using We for office and I just couldn't remember whether or not one needed an authorizaation file. So, your answer is helpful. I originally asked the question because I have been having lots of problems with my system and I am trying to determine whether WE is due whole or in part to those problems. I seem to be having an issue where we just stops talking and then the computer reboots. I have begunf to think that some piece of hardware on my system might be intermittantly causing some of the problems I am having.B On 11/14/2017 4:24 PM, Kevin Huber via Talk wrote: > Hi Bernie: > > OK. Re: We certificates
Reading your messages about certificates and authorizations, I am confused about which version of Window Eyes you are talking about. Sometimes it seems you are talking about the paid version and sometimes you are talking about the WE for Office. I don't know much about the WE for Office version. But for the Paid version there is no limit on the number of installations. And it is not clear what the certificate problem you mention is. I do know that around the first of 2017 there was a problem with certificates with AISquared products and there was an update to fix this problem in January. Could it be you are trying to install a version that had this certificate problem? Here is link that discusses this problem. https://www.aisquared.com/certificatefix/ VFO no longer supports WE Paid version but they should give you a link to download full copy of your paid version of WE and then you can install without the problems. - Original Message - From: net bat via Talk To: Window-Eyes Discussion List Cc: net bat Sent: Thursday, November 16, 2017 3:44 PM Subject: Re: We certificates are you sure you have the full installation file? the downloads are usually not. i had to email vfo with my serial number and name. then they sent me a link to download it with my serial number already embedded in the file. -Original Message- From: Kevin Huber via Talk Sent: Thursday, November 16, 2017 12:35 PM To: Window-Eyes Discussion List Cc: Kevin Huber Subject: Re: We certificates Hi Larry: I would just go ahead and reinstall WeForOffice. Kevin, Now that this issue has come up, I have a question I hope you have some insight into. For some reason, each time I make a major update to Windows 10, WE goes into demo mode, making it necessary to go to license management and renew online. When I try doing it offline, it gives me an invalid warning. When I do it offline, it tells me that I have a dwindling number of renewal options, and now it appears that I have run out. Hi Bernie: bAs for your question about Microsoft Office, If you have a valid license for Microsoft Office 10 or above, all you need to do is to start Windoweyesforoffice and if it doesn't find yourMicrosoft Office license, it will just run in demo mode. You can get the information at www.windoweyesforoffice.com and you can get all the information from there On 11/12/17, Bernie Perella via Talkwrote: > HI, Thanks for your note. Not sure what authorizations you are talking about, if it is for voices you purchased for the paid version of WE 9.54, you need to request a download link from AISquared that would include any paid versions of voices you purchased. Bernie, did you try running these certificates as administrator? I've had occasions when certain apps won't install unless Irun them as administrator during the installation process.
