If anyone wants to hide windows 10 updates then go to.

and download the program called gwx control pannel and install it and 
follow the instructions also inable the monitar mode and you will have 
no problems.

I uninstalled it and hid it for a different reason, to get rid of the 
windows 10 icon in my systray.
My computer doesn’t change the cursor to the task bar anymore, but 
stays put on the desk top.

if you don't remove the get windows 10 it will eventually install itself 
without your permission.

go to windows update and uninstall this update. then reboot.
KB3035583
after you reboot keep looking for this same update , check it and open a 
context menu on it and click on hide this update so it doesn't reinstall again.
even with this microsoft is determined to force you to upgrade. they will 
probibly push another patch later to do the same thing.

the easiest way is to open the start screen and type in screen saver in the 
search box.
you will also have the option for the power settings for the monitor and 
computer there.

do you have the screen saver turned on or is it set to go into sleep mode?
check what what the power settings in the control panel are set to.
