Do I need to initiate an update enough to get it downloaded in order to see KB305583 in a list? Thanks for any help. Jeff At 11:42 AM 12/14/2015, you wrote: Got my problem solved. Re: Windows 7 Update Question
You should first configure Windows Updates not to download or install automatically. Then go to Installed Updates, and search for the update there. Next, delete the update. Finally, check for updates again, and the update will appear in one of the lists. I think initially it was an important update, but now it may be an optional one. Either way, once you find it, you can hide it. Remember, you can always get Windows 10 when you are ready. If nothint else, you can unhide the update. -Original Message- From: Jeff Samco via Talk Sent: Monday, December 14, 2015 8:28 PM To: Window-Eyes Discussion List Subject: Re: Windows 7 Update Question I'm also getting the nagging window inviting me to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
