Hello Larry Using Windows Explorer get to the folder you want to modify. When you are there, press alt+V. Now press the tab key until you get to Sort By. Press the enter key and from here you can decide how you want to sort the items in the folder. If Window-Eyes doesn't want to talk to you, route the mouse to PC and use the mouse navigation keys to go through the items and activate the left click mouse button when you get to the item you want to use for sorting the contents. Larry, I too have been struggling with 8.1. There is some Webinars at the GW micro web site. They are for Windows 8, but maybe the info you seek is covered in one of these Webinars. Thank God I still have another working computer as learning 8.1 has a longer learning curve than I thought it would.
