I use the script at
http://www.openstreetmap.pl/balrog/bulkupload/osm2change.py to convert
from generated / JOSM edited .osm files to OsmChange.

The rest of the files in that directory perform some useful operations
on OsmChange files.

Cheers

[OSM-talk] Editor that supports OSMChange files?

2009-12-24 Thread Serge Wroclawski
Other than completely automated scripts, does anyone know a tool that
generates OsmChange files?

I don't see a way to save an OsmChange file in JOSM, or the OSM plugin for Qgis.

Does anyone know of one?

Thanks,

- Serge

No it's wrong, imagery now works with JOSM out of the box if you fetch
the wmsplugin.

And lose your entire work every 20 minutes or so because of Flash
breaking... Ok, this doesn't occur this often, but it does sometimes. Not
Potlatch's fault, though.

Lol, you guys.

I've got one of these which is nice as a small relatively cheap tracker:
http://is.gd/5xCPn

It's not perfect, fiddly to set up (can work with my site http://mapme.at
though) and only pings updates every 30s maximum. Battery's not great either
but can manage for maybe 5 hours or so (and comes with a spare so perhaps you
could wire them up together before wrapping in duct tape and putting in an
airtight container).

Or you could use Potlatch...
