Më 25 janar ka përfunduar puna për vendosjen e emrave të rrugëve të Kosovës
në OpenStreetMap. Ky proces ka nisur më 18 dhjetor 2018 pas një memorandumi
të mirëkuptimit të Agjencisë Kadastrale të Kosovës dhe OJQ FLOSSK, në emër
të komunitetit të kontribuesve, e cila mes tjerash ka paraprarë pranimin e
emrave të rrugëve të cilat janë zyrtarizuar nga Agjencia Kadastrale e
Kosovës. Në vazhdim të kësaj, vullnetarët nga Kosova dhe jasht saj kanë
punuar për t’i vendosur këto të dhëna zyrtare në OpenStreetMap.

Komuniteti do të vazhdoj t’i freskoj këto të dhëna me ndryshimet e nxjerra
nga Agjencia Kadastrale e Kosovës dhe mirëpret të dhënat nga komunat tjera
që janë në proces të finalizimit të emarave të rrugëve.

Emrat e standardizuar të rrugëve të disponueshme në sisteme të hapura siç
është OpenStreetMap dhe aplikacionet që përdorin të dhënat nga ajo do të
ndihmojnë në orientimin më të lehtë të qytetarëve dhe qojnë në shërbime
shtesë ekonomike.

Në vazhdim komuniteti i kontribuesve në OpenStreetMap do të punoj në
projektin madhor të radhës që është vendosja e konturave (gjurmëve) të
ndërtesave dhe numrave të adresave.

FLOSS Kosova është organizatë joqeveritare e themeluar në vitin 2009 me
qëllim që të përkrah, promovoj dhe zhvilloj softuerin e lirë dhe me kod
burimor të hapur, njohuritë e hapura dhe pjesëmarrëse, edukimin në
teknologjitë informative nëpërmjet kurseve të hapura, dhe standardet,
kulturën dhe shoqërinë e hapur duke përdorur komunikimin e lirë.

[OSM-talk] invitation to speak and attend SotM Southeast Europe

Dear all,

This is a call for speakers for our State of the Map Southeast Europe
conference to be held on 25-27 October in Prizren, Kosovo.

Our aim is to jumpstart OSM in the region, make connections in the
community, upgrade OSM and GIS skills and showcase use cases to about 150
attendees. We can fund some speakers from our region and wider Europe and
can discuss sponsored speakers as well.

A friend's complaint below and I agree with him.

Hi Arianit,

I just saw your email, it had somewhat went into my spam folder.

Here's the sample issue:

1) name should include only a single name. Albanian version can be noted as
"name:al", alternatives could be alt_name, etc - per OSM standards.

2) This should be admin_level 4, I believe. When I tried to query different
admin levels (upper/lower), I remember having some issues.

These mostly have to do with standards. The naming approach is standing out
as a problematic practice.

I'm sharing for your information. Thank you also for sharing the geoportal
reference of Kosovo gov.

E pash strategjine per zhvillimin e turizmit. Kishit perfshi kete pjese
relevante per FLOSSK-un dhe wikipedianet:

*Ofrimi i informatave të sakta në platforma të hapura në internet. Një nga
mënyrat se si vizitorët marrin informacione gjenerale mbi destinacionin
janë platformat e hapura në internet (p.sh. Wikipedia). Informacionet për
Prishtinën në këto platforma, megjithatë, janë të mangëta dhe shpesh herë
jo të sakta. Sa i përket orientimit, vizitorët kryesisht shërbehen me
platformën “Googlemaps”. Por, edhe në këtë rast, ekziston një shpërputhje
në mes të emrave të rrugëve që figurojnë në ‘Googlemaps’ dhe atyre të
vendosur në pllaka fizike në hyrje të rrugëve. Planifikohet që përmes një
ekipi tëadresohet mungesa dhe asimetra e informatave në këto platforma, si
dhe të bëhet optimizimi i makinave të kërkimit (“searchoptimizationengine”)
në përgjithësi. *

Ky eshte fillim i mire, por ne kerkojme nje trajtim me gjitheperfshires qe
do ta lehtesonte kontributin e komuniteteve perkatese ne platformat e
hapura per ta permiruar permbajtjen per Prishtinen, çofte ne Wikipedia,
OpenStreetMap apo platforma te tjera.

E drejta e autorit pengon shperndarjen e materialit turistik prandaj autori
qe synon shperndarjen e informacionit pa qellim te kompensimit financiar,
sic eshte rasti me Komunen qe shperndane informacion turistik, duhet te
heqe dore nga disa pengesa ligjore qe ne menyre automatike te pavetdijshme
i krijon Ligji per te drejten e autorit.

Materiali qe krijojne organet publike vec financohet nga publiku prandaj
eshte e natyrshme qe t'i kthehet atij pa kompensim shtese; per me teper,
eshte e logjikshme qe qe te lehtsohet shperndarja e materialit qe krijohet
per promovim.

Materiali mund te jene fotografite e monumenteve kulturore dhe te natyres

Ne momentin qe institucioni dhuron material nen licence te hapur dhe
teknikisht te riprodhuheshem nga makina ose mbeshtete ne forma te ndryshme

sendertim te metutjeshem te paimagjinueshem nga autori i pare.

te ardhmen do te licencohet nen nje licence te hapur dhe ofrohet ne format
elektronik burimor (source file) te publikuar online.*
*- Ta nxite prodhimin e permbajtjes nga te tjeret nen licenca te hapura
duke mbeshtetur me material burimor nisma si ato te wikipedianve ose
hartografuesve ne OpenStreetMap.*

Gentlemen,

Quit bringing your extreme nationalism to the discussion. The map
should be useful to the local people. There are two official languages
in Kosovo, Albanian and Serbian. Other languages can be used locally
when at least 5% of the population uses them.

I hope you stick to this.
