One criticism I would have is the source=* tag.

Most buildings are tagged as:

From what I can tell the buildings were traced from Bing using a good
offset.

the source tag for this should then read
source=Bing

I would go on to say that the "source_date=*" and the

As for tagging it from COSMHA I believe the settled on approach was to
use a tag "cosmha=yes" or cosmha:project=yes".
How ever I do not think it is essential anymore to tag everything with
COSMHA anymore and perhaps would be better to declare COSMHA

Ok thanks for the feed back it is helpful

Ok for Validator I am talking about school or humanitarian object.

I have such king of information when I am using Validator:

Presets do not contain property value

or
Presets do not contain property key.

But is not important for our purpose.

COULD somebody cross check if we can have the WMS back from Telespatio :
wms:?SRS={proj}&WIDTH={width}&height={height}&BBOX={bbox}

Is not working and I thing it was aerial photo other Leoagane 15 cm
(Aerial photo from World Bank).

It could be useful if this wms is activated again. Let see

Harry and all,

Perhaps related as I'm getting a similar weird result over Tabare [0].

At zoom19, the imagery looks well aligned with an imagery date is 2011
[1] although the image quality is poor.
At zoom20, the imagery is off ~15m north with an imagery date is 2010
[2]. Moreover, there are a lot of changes in the number buildings
constructed.

So I guess zooming beyond 19 (in this area) is not advisable.

Yes the bing imagery looks quite different when you zoom right in, and has a
very different offset. Be sure to line up imagery with existing data before you
start sketching in the buildings.

Severin,

Un petit problème avec l'imagerie Bing pour Leogane et  Livalois. Elle est
alignée différemment lorsque l'on zoom sous les  15 mètres.

There is a problem looking at Bing Imagery for Leogane and Livalois. The
imagery offset is different under 15 meters.

Actually yes, I forgot about this new option! Thanks for reminding.

But somehow I believe it would be easier to make tasks smaller all at once,
to avoid that someone "blocks" a task (and thus a pretty big area) for a
long time.

Anyway, not a huge deal either

Cheers,

Re: [Talk-ht] [HOT] HOT TM jobs for Sandy's affected areas in Haiti/Jos Tasking Manager de zones affectées par Sandy

2012-11-06 Thread Séverin MENARD
Hi Pierrre,

Thank you for pointing this. Did you figure out what this offset is in X
and Y, so that we can put this information in the job's description?

Sincerely,

Severin

Re: [Talk-ht] [HOT] HOT TM jobs for Sandy's affected areas in Haiti/Jos Tasking Manager de zones affectées par Sandy

2012-11-06 Thread Pierre Béland
