Re: [talk-ph] wikiloc tracks

2010-05-13 Thread Jim Morgan
There's also Everytrail.com, where we got written permission to use the traces.
There's only one for Bacolod though.

[talk-ph] Fwd: [Local-contacts] The contributor terms are now translatable

Maybe someone is interested to translate in Filipino?

The text around the recently deployed contributor terms (that every
new user sees) are still only in in English. But now it can be
translated on Translatewiki:

   http://translatewiki.net/wiki/Translating:OpenStreetMap

It's just a few messages, here you can see them in context:

Translating the relevant wiki pages is also helpful:

I know. :)

But, judging from the way he/she treated Totor and Avelinosk, I
assume that this is just the way he/she reacts to certain things.

[talk-ph] wikiloc tracks (Re: Bacolod is still a big problem)

2010-05-13 Thread maning sambale
One bacolod mapper gave me a tip of this useful site.

wikiloc.com

It has several traces we can possibly use.
http://wikiloc.com/wikiloc/map.do#lt=11.695273&ln=122.102051&z=11&k=1&tab=0

This is one the source of tracks some mappers of Bacolod are using.
If you can ask individual permission to the user with Philippine
tracks we can use them in OSM.

Manila, we have a problem. MTBBCD is now pissed off (

Maning (plus he/she misspelled your name)

Tony Montana: Me, I want what's coming to me.
