Is it time for a version number jump?
Hello TB! beta testers with all this big improvements in the Beta 1.42 series (new message base, many long standing bugs corrected), there is perhaps the time for a major jump in the version number. I would propose 1.50, but as RIT Labs don't seem to like numbers ending in zero (quoting Max: "We've jumped from 1.39 to 1.41 to avoid trailing zeros - they are sometimes treated as milestones."), we could settle to 1.51 ;-) There would be another advantage: many TB! are used to just copy a new version over the old one. Now with the new message base and the potential problems of converting (not that i think there are still major problems with the conversion), skipping some numbers could help indicating that it is more than just "another new version". With the US keyboard, Left Alt = Right Alt. With the Polish keyboard scheme installed, Right Alt is automatically mapped to Ctrl+Alt.
