Colour groups and filtering

2000-04-24 Thread Peter Gannushkin

Hello Stefan,

I don't remember was it discussed or not but there are some problems
  with color groups:

  1. There are two groups. Even if you delete one of them it
will appear the next time. And this new one is working as none or
Generic group from menu. So you need to set up both of them with the
same options or your own colors will not work.

  2. I set up a filter which is changing the group only and then let
the other filters work. When I tried to re-filter the folder all the
messages which were accepted by this filter were moved back to inbox
and I had to re-filter it too.

  3. The sorting by color group makes weird things showing the
messages in different order every time you click the column header.

And some funny thing: the internal spell checker doesn't know the
word "colour" and wants me to use "color" instead.

  (I'm using winnt 4.0 server sp6a)

No problem at your site Thomas.
I just realize the problem 5 hours after the server down.
Sorry to all for inconveniences.

Since the last updates I see no utf-8 anywhere (unless I look in the
wrong place)
What I send shows Thai in the html, but the normal garbage in the text

No, I send Thomas one in Thai which had been send to ME by a friend of
the wife in Germany.

HTML part is readable...

Yes; tracer was so kind.

AVK> Content-type: text/plain; charset=UTF-7

AVK> should have been in the subheaders of the respective part.

I didn't see anything about charset in any header or subheader; I
wrongly assumed the charset should be in the same line as the
content-type.

Anyway, could someone be so kind as to send me a UTF-encoded plain
text message in Thai? It should be a real sentence not just hitting
some keys, so I can see whether the letters, tone markers, maha-nakart
etc display correctly.

It didn't work with a Thai-encoded attachment as is clear now.
