NON-ticker messages jumping

2004-07-06 Thread Paul Cartwright
 hello,
well, to add insult to injury, now I created a virtual folder, for
unread messages, because I could not deal with the ticker jumping all
over the place. It was doing it again today, so I switched to my unread
VF to read. well, IT DID IT THERE TOO. I was going down the list, and
WHAM, it dropped a page below where I was reading.

Nope. I don't know why but I was a beta behind. I just looked at my
help/about and put that in thinking it was the latest beta. I've just
downloaded beta 7 and it works fine.

Sorry for any confusion.

What it probably has to do with is that I put the Type= "Rogues" in
the PDSF2.MSL file, and I put it at the top instead of right above the
Roguesmoticons. So I probably confused it. I need to fix it.

Has he downloaded the server's certificate and installed it into TB!?
I suspect he hasn't and that's why he's getting this screen. When I
used TLS, I needed to request the certificate, save it to a file and
then install it into TB's Trusted CA address book. The screen then
went away. :) Of course, I can't read German

On playing with this a bit more, I notice that it randomly changes the
smilies!?

Just was just jumping through the messages in the lists and where there
were images for people, they were being added, but where there wasn't an
image, it was showing a random smilie or nothing at all!?

Is this intentional, or is there something wrong here?

H. Lesse.

Open the rogues.msl file and make sure it says:

Type = "Rogues"

and that your PDSF.MSL file does not list any of the roguemoticons, or
editing your PDSF.MSL file put the Type = "Rogues" right above the
first roguemotion entry. Never mind, skip that. If you have
roguemoticons in your PDSF.MSL file, delete them.

The last thing to try it CRTL-SHFT-ALT-T to force a reload of the .MSL
files.

Why? I saved (with my workaround) only 2 MB. I'll do this workaround
