Does it make any difference in respect to my question? You apparently have 3.0.2.10 - do you see this same problem in that release? Anyway, perhaps I missed the thread about where you download 3.0.2.10, but I usually just pick up the latest release at http://www.ritlabs.com/en/tbbeta. There the latest release is listed as 3.0.2.8, which is what I am using. Perhaps Ritlabs also missed the thread about the 3.0.2.10 release. :-) -- Avi Yashar Windows XP Pro SP2 and The Bat! Paul, pardon me, but just because something is obvious to you does not mean that it is obvious to others. If we are talking about a heretofore unreported bug - as, to the best of my knowledge, this is - then it is very unlikely that a difference of just one or two beta releases is significant, especially when those subsequent beta releases are not even registered on the official beta download site of Ritlabs (and hence are likely to be only limited beta releases issued for testing in respect to specific bugs). Not only that, sometimes the latest beta release can be very unstable or totally unsuitable for a particular tester's personal use. That is a valid reason for dropping back to an earlier release, and it should not exclude that tester from reporting new bugs. So, pardon me, but I think it would have been more constructive if you had just confirmed or denied my bug report for 3.0.2.10 on your operating system (which is different from mine). So, how did you find the current beta? Before downloading, I edited the shortcut to the 3.0.2.8 rar file on the Ritlabs beta download site so that it would point to 3.0.2.10. -- Avi Yashar Windows XP Pro SP2 and The Bat! You are always entitled to your opinion, and...so am I. Paul, I should not have to justify myself on such type of points. You seem to be only interested in attacking me personally rather than examining the validity of a bug or the validity of my arguments. So this extremely judgemental remark of yours is also not at all constructive, IMO. Nevertheless, for the sake of peace on this forum, I will clarify my position for you. I travel a lot and am quite busy. It seems that when this release came out, I was mostly offline - having gone to Thailand, where for the better part of two weeks I was in the jungle around Chiang Mai. After my return to Israel, where I am currently headquartered, I had minimal time to dedicate to beta testing of TB and no time to give more than a cursory glance at the many messages to this list. I did, however, check the Ritlabs beta page to see if there was a new beta release, and I understood from that page that I had the latest release - 3.0.2.8. Yes, you are probably correct that the signatures of many messages to this forum indicate that people are using 3.0.2.10. But, for better or worse, I prefer not to receive mail from this forum via POP3 (and my TB) but rather read the forum on-line via a dedicated Gmail account. Those who use Gmail will attest that signatures are often hidden unless you click Show quoted text. So, quite frankly, I simply did not notice that others had a later release than I do. Having said all of that, I still do not find anything wrong with my reporting a new bug even if the beta that I was using is a bit out of date.
