saving attachments

2006-12-28 Thread Victor Star
Hi ,

I can't seem to find a way to save just selected attachments. The only options
I have are
"Save all", "Save all to" and just "Save" (and then I'm prompted to save each
of the selected attachments).
In some prior versions the was an option called "Save to" which worked just
like "Save all to" but
for the selected attachments only. Why did it disappear? Does anyone know how
to get it back in the
recent versions?

Thanks,

When you've selected it while browsing deleted messages you press
'delete', that deletes it from the deleted messages, so it's
undeleted.

I have missed that then - where is that flag? I sometimes delete

Grovelling shamelessly ...

How about a TAB to show the deleted files so they can be viewed in the

Also while I am groveling - a flag for DELETED status that could be

I have download it but not yet installed it. As it turns out I got a 2
GB thumb drive for Christmas and am interested in trying this version
  out on it.

I seem to recall having to enter some number at some point during the
installation with the earlier versions in order to get it to register.
Is that still necessary with this newest version? Or will it detect
that I have a registered version of The Bat! Pro installed on my
  system when I install it?

Also while I'm asking for guidance, do I install it and then restore a
backup of my regular version in order to import all my settings?

I think plug-ins should not be distributed with the main program. That
defeats the purpose of them being plug-ins, they could just be part of
the core program. The idea of plug-ins is that only those who want
them can download them and "plug them in".

The concept of a centralised plug-in download website is a good idea
IMHO, like with Firefox.
