Hello Henk, On Fri, 26 Oct 2007 you wrote in HMdB> With this version Antispamsniper stopped working Well, I've tried to roll back to .25 but "About" still says .27 (as does my sig below)! As I still don't have any recent posts in my Antispamsniper log I must presume that I still have .27 installed, even though I re installed .25. I have just tried again and, this time, it asked if I wanted to repair it. Setting Up TB for GMail IMAP
Hi The, I have been using TB for Google's Pop Mail service. Google has just offered IMAP service, using this setup page for non-listed programs such as TB. http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=78799 Has anyone else here used TB for this new Gmail feature yet? As you can see, the Gmail IMAP instructions don't exactly fit the IMAP options in TB, but I would like to try Gmail's IMAP feature in lieu of their Pop feature. TLS
Hello tbbeta, while away from home, I tried to receive eMail with Voyager from my main ISP, which is T-Online in germany. T-Online provides several server for incoming mail, e.g.: pop.t-online.de for ONE user, radius authenticated, no password neccessary. popmail.t-online.de for unsecured sessions for all customers regardless whether they are connected via T-O or not. securepop.t-online.de for SSL secured sessions for customers who purchased the email packet. I tried to connect to securepop.t-online.de with my Voyager - and got this: !25.10.2007, 20:13:59: FETCH - The server does not support TLS, it uses SSL protocol version 3.0 which is outdated and insecure (version 3.1 known as TLS is required) A check with Thunderbird was successful at the first attempt. Thunderbird has the option to check SSL instead of TLS. SSL with port 995 works flawlessly! Why can't I connect with Voyager (3.99.8)? Where can I tell Voyager that it is ME who has to decide whether the SSL version is secure enough or not? -- Best regards, Peter mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Current beta is (none) | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

As for Vista rights After installing I got rid of that whole user- administrator login thing, as I also did before with XP. It may be a safe way, but I didn't need it. Vista problem?
Hi, since I use Windows Vista, TB can't called from any mailto link in other applications. It happens quite often in Internet Explorer where, after writing a message online, the default emailclient is used to send the message. Every time I get the message: Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed. Of course I have set in Vista TB as my default mailclient with all options checked, so mailto links too. Is this is Vista or a TB problem? Is there a way to solve it, except for setting Windows Mail as default client? -- Regards, Gunivortus Using The Bat Vs. 3.99.25 under Vista Bussiness 64 bit Current beta is (none) | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
