Re[2]: The Bat! 4.0
Hello Henk, Saturday, November 10, 2007, 12:31:15 AM, you wrote: http://www.ritlabs.com/en/products/thebat/news_detail.php?ID=2240 I found the road map fairly easy to understand. What I am concerned about is the following: 1. Time line for the new product 2. List of the Significantly new features 3. List of Features that could not be addressed in version 3 that will be resolved in version 4 The two key areas of interest. a) RSS plug in that is rock solid and works well b) Easy integration to a Calender program of my choice c) Ability to have the program recognized in the corporate sector. (I'm getting hammered in the health care sector as spammer. Every week, key documents attached to the files are blocked) I look forward to beta testing. Have a good day. No message in preview pane and will not minimize
Hi folks, Every so often I will select a folder with new messages and I will not see any message text in the preview pane (using text-only) - including postings from this list. At the same time, the program window will not minimize to the tray, until I either use the tray icon context menu Restore or the system menu Minimize (upper left corner on the app window). Once I do this, and the application is able to minimize, the preview pane again shows its message text. I believe the minimize-to-tray function was an issue not so long ago. -- Regards, Neal Using TheBat! v3.99.29 on Windows XP Service Pack 2 AntispamSniper 2.7.1.1 OTFE enabled Current beta is 3.99.29 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
using thebat.net
Hello TBBETA, I am playing with thebat.net to find out if it is useful for me. What I find rather annoying, is that every message that arrives on this addres, also arrives at my regular gmail address. And what I try nothing works to stop this :-( -- Henk M. de Bruijn __ The Bat! And what I try nothing works to stop this :-( -- Henk M. de Bruijn I sent a test e-mail to my GMail account while logged on to my batnet web interface. No e-mail was received at batnet. An hour later I decided I wanted to enable my batnet POP (both POP and IMAP were disabled). As soon as I enabled POP, I had a new e-mail in my batnet inbox, you guessed it, the test e-mail to my GMail account from an hour previous. I had already marked it read and trashed it with the GMail web interface, but there it was, unread in my batnet inbox... WTF is that? You enable IMAP or POP in you batnet account and you start picking up e-mail from your regular GMail account?!?!?! Like picking up radio stations with the fillings in your teeth...
