Undo/redo function in TB's text editor is faulty? Ancient bug?
It's been a long time since I noticed that the undo/redo function is defective in TB's text editor. Often I can't step back exactly to the previous situation with it when I write a message: either a word is missing, or some letters, or worst. I can't even remember how many builds ago I noticed this, maybe from ever. I'm surprised still nobody even talks about it. What am I missing? -- Luca - e-mail: p.stevens at linuxfan.it Current beta is 5.1.0.3 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Re: Browsing deleted messages
Hello Stuart, An even better solution, IMHO, would be to allow creating a Message List tab, just like for unread, read, flagged, etc. Has this been considered? I have looked and I could not find a way of doing it. Agreed. This was mentioned when the tabs were first introduced, but di not seem to get picked up on. If we ever get BT back, I'll try to remember and include a wish list entry. -- Best regards, Miguel A. Re: Create new Message drop-list empty AGAIN!
Hello Steven, OK. After restarting, both the Create a New Message drop-list *AND* the RMB pop-up list in the address fields show the SAME MENU! I haven't seen that for at LEAST FIVE years. Now, if it will only continue working when I install the inevitable next release. And the one after that. And... Glad to hear that, let's see how long it lasts. I must say that, although with just a few addresses, both the pop-up list and RMB menu seem to be working here. -- Best regards, Miguel A. Re: Create new Message drop-list empty AGAIN!
Hello Steven, M You owe me a beer ;-) Next time you're going to be on Florida's Space Coast let me know and I'll take care of you! I was there a couple of times in the past, but I don't think I'll have much opportunity to visit again. So, next time you are having a beer, drink another one on my behalf :) Since I seem to be the only one having this issue, ... No, you are not the only one, I've seen it happen as you describe when doing some test. However, as I only use this feature with half a dozen addresses, and mainly from RMB menu, it is not a big issue for me. -- Best regards, Miguel A. Re: About 'Tags'
Hello Rick, OK, I have found a way of actually *deleting* tags. But it is a 'dirty trick' that I will not make public for the moment. I created a tag and it does not show in the tag list. I even restarted the Bat. It doesn't show from either the main nor the right click menu. There are certainly some issues with tag creation, selection, RMB menu, etc. One of these days I'll try to get some time and try to pinpoint what's happening and, if possible, why. -- Best regards, Miguel A. Re: 5.1.2 expanded threads unstable
Hello Roger, As you are the only one to reply to my original message I'll be very grateful if you will, when convenient to you, please do a test to see if you get the same problem. I never really cared much, or paid attention, to thread expansion. Whenever I move a to folder, if I need to expand a thread, I do it. And then, when I leave that folder, I don't care much the state in which I leave it. But I'll try to take a look at your issue. It's very nice to have you active on this list again. Thanks :) What I don't know is for how long it will be ;) -- Best regards, Miguel A. Re: 5.1.2.: System HTML viewer incorrectly displays UTF-8 HTML messages without correct HTML structure
Hello Raymund, The system viewer doesn't respect the UTL-8 character set, but the internal viewer shows them properly. I would expect that the system viewer does not see the Nobody expects the system viewer to see these, of course (those are 2 different programs and it'd be sad if they saw into eachother). But, we (or I, for this matter) would well expect TheBat' to - pass this data to the viewer when embedding it in the view window. - or, if such a feature is not defined by the interface used to invoke the system viewer, patch the HTML passed to the viewer by adding that header so the encoding gets propagated to it. -- Best regards, Viktor Kabelacmailto:tbbeta-l...@kabelac.cz Current beta is 5.1.0.3 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
