I know it comes from the Latin verb dicere. 8 years of Latin lessons were not
completely forgotten, albeit the last ones
date from 35 years ago :-)

Perhaps I was not clear enough; unless I am mistaken, the idem dito WE are
using comes from the Latin idem dicto,
which was not used by the Romans, but more recently, in (mostly) administrative
texts.

Latin being used in science, religion, administration occurred in many
European Countries, also in England. The
English language was much more influenced by the Latin language than by the
Italian language.

That's what intrigues me: why did the English start to use the Tuscan
variant (ditto) of the Italian detto? It seems
to me that ditto was introduced in England at about the same time idem
dicto was used over here, but both developed
independent from one another.

Ditto is not being used in Dutch.

having problems with some e-mails in html.
This one for instance starts like this:

!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC -//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN
http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd;
style type=text/css
!--
html, body {

html
head
meta content=text/html; charset=utf-8 http-equiv=Content-Type
titlewehkamp.nl/title
style type=text/css
!--
.ReadMsgBody {width:100%;}
.ExternalClass {width:100%;}
html {-webkit-text-size-adjust:none !important;}
a:active {outline:none;}
a:focus {-moz-outline-style:none;}
p {margin:0 !important; padding:0 !important;}
--
/style
/head

 Is it just faulty html (which it is in my opinion) or should TheBat! still
 be able to show it properly?

 Just curious.

Quick Reply sections still available in final version!

2012-08-25 Thread Marek Mikus
Hello,
I am really curious, in which version will be removed Quick reply
sections from Account properties and option from Folder properties.

Or maybe they will stay until somebody finally implement them??

Sometimes I understand (but not agree), why is not-fully polished feature
included in final version, but unannounced and non-working features?

I am really angry when have to answer customers, that there are available
features, which are not working and will be implemented in future (maybe)...

RT If you copy the text you want (as it is obviously one part of it) and
RT then click reply to all and delete the original quote and then
RT 'Edit|Paste as quotation from' that should work.

RT Attached the menu that shows up here.

You attached a file called wrongmenu. In fact, it is the right menu,
you just have to expand it by clicking on the first menu item,
