CC icon remains in Task bar

2012-12-15 Thread MAU
Hello all,

I have CC set to display Automatically. So, when sending or receiving,
it displays and, when done, it disappears from screen as it should.
However, some times (I have not found a pattern yet), after closing, its
icon does stay in the task bar as you can see in attached screen grab.

Right clicking on it and selecting 'Close' does nothing. The only way to
remove it, apart from exiting TB, is setting CC to display 'Always' and
then set to 'Hide' or 'Automatically'.

Has anybody else seen this? I belive it started with v5.3.4

The mid worked fine :-)

But no, that was a different issue. He was talking about CC not closing
the *connection*, some times for several hours. My case is different, CC
completes sending or receiving, it closes the connection fine, the CC
window hides OK, but the icon in taskbar remains (some times only, not
always).

I had never paid much attention to the progress bar but yes, at least in
this version it seems to be reversed. Now the thing it to know if WAD or
bug.

The solution in brief:

Download the updated certificate from here (ZIP-file)

https://corp.sts.microsoft.com/Onboard/CertRenewal.html

Create an new entry in address book Trusted Root CA named MSIT Machine
Auth CA and import the certificate corp_sts_2014_chain.p7b. Restart The

Despite this, the issue remains - the error message is most unhelpful.
It should allow to view the provided certificate at least to see

You may want to look into the transmission logfile (CTRL+SHIFT+A). There you
will find, whats going wrong.
This was how I got the idea of whats went wrong.
