You must use Google Apps.
http://www.google.com/enterprise/apps/business/
(just sign in, and use the free services ("only" 10 email addresses,
and "only" 7 GB mailbox size). You must have access to you DNS
records.
I found very easily many tutorials in french, I recommend you to
search for "use gmail with my domain" in spanish. (sorry for the
"Google it" answer !)

(And welcome the push mail if you have an Android phone).

Slighty off-topic, but it may interest other subscribers.

5.1.6.2 AV Windows

2012-05-30 Thread Francis Dhumes
Hello ,

very often I get the message
---
The Bat!
---
Access violation at address 00A288EC in module 'thebat.exe'. Read of address
0100.
---
OK
---

Many, many windows with this message appears, ans the only way to work
is to kill the process.
This happens without any action.

I work now with IMAP, on GMail servers (my own domain name). I don't
know if this could help.

And clicking on the folder list in the folder list windows had no more

I was able to close TB! without killing the process, and all work fine

It happened with previous versions from time to time (I would say about

[SOT] Beta/alpha version question

Hello,

I would say: I never had any major problems with the 5.0 alpha or
beta.

It seems silly to say that on a this list, designed to report the bugs,
but some not-beta-testers "lurk" the list and
understand that all the 5.x version are widely buggy and unusable. And
explain outside this list that the 5.x version are not-to-use.

For information.

Just a little cosmetic consideration: the about box looks like a

high to really look like a letter. It would be nicer if this window

v 5.x: no more image smileys

2010-12-14 Thread Francis Dhumes
Hello Tbbeta,

It's not at all a very important problem, but since the v 5.xx, the
smileys (ie :-) ) appears not with the icon stored in the
\images\Default folder of the program directory (but the rogues images
appears correctly).
Instead I obtain the characters squared with a black line.
If I click on the button on the upper side of the new mail windows, I
have the list of smileys with the icons.

I have checked "Display the raw messages using Microed, slower
.." (I I have checked it seceral times !).

Any ideas ? Bug or I have made something wrong ?

You're right, minutes after I send my message I changed it again, I
had the same felling. Now it's "You can check at what time the message will be

Thanks, it's long but clear.

The translation I made "word by word" is very near of the meaning of
this option, but I think is not clear.

In french I translate it to
"Vous pouvez contrôler à quel moment le message sera envoyé si il est
terminé au plus tard le:"
In english it gives "You can control at what time the message will be sent if
it will be
finished later on:". I think it's more clear.

I totally agree; it's like this I have translated it first. But it's a
nonsense with the ability to modify the date/time after it. It's not
just having a look !

AdG> It's useless if you only use it without template macro "%Postpone", but if

Yes, but the initial sentence doesn't explain it. If the time below is

Help for a sentence I don't understand

2009-05-28 Thread Francis Dhumes
Hello ,

I have a problem for translating a sentence in TB!, and I ask some
help to explain me what is the goal of this option.

It's the latest option of the "More" button in the postpone message
window:
"You may also see when the message will be sent if it will be
finished later on:".

What does it mean: that I will have the ability to look a the time when
the message will finish after au specified time (seems useless for
me), or that if the message is finished after a specified time, I will
have to select another time to postpone ?

I really don't understand the option; please enlightened me :)

TB! has the ability to customize the columns of the message list:
right-click on the caption, and choose the last choice "Message list
colums". here you can tick the "from" field, ans you can choose where
it appears (using "move up" and "move down".

It's exactly what you explained.

Using Windows NT4 is very dangerous for a connected computer (if you
install TB! on such a system, thinking it's connected is logical):
Microsoft don't provide any security patches since December, 31, 2004.

Major security flaws are present on NT4 SP6, they are perfectly know
but are not patched. History of NT4 (it's Wikipedia, but all information
are seriously true):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_NT_4.0#Security

There is is no reason for Ritlabs to spend time to search why TB! 4.1
don't install on an obsolete and dangerous system.

Hello,

with Tb! 4.1.9 the mail ticker has a display problem: before I had a
small windows in the corner of the screen (where I had moved it).
Now I have a tape on the full width of the screen (like it where
"maximized"), and I have not found how to "restore" it. It's on a

Is it confirmed on other computer, or is it a local problem ? And how

I'm sorry, I've made a mistake (Home computer was'nt up-to-date): on
Vista SP1, folder view is perfectly correct.

There *must* be something different !
- I didn't notice any option related to the folder view modifying this
behaviour.
- I have the problème on the work computer (XP SP3) and the home
computer (Vista SP1).
- I have no plugins, except Antispamsniper.

Maybe: I have several "favourite sets" ?

The problem is not exactly described:
- if you have a set of folders, for more than the height of the screen
- if you leave TB!, focusing on a folder in the first screen-height:
no problem, when TB! opens, the folder tree is correctly displayed
- if you were focusing on a folder needing that you have to scroll the
windows, when TB! open, you are focused on the folder, but this one
is displayed on the second line of the windows (leaving blank the
bottom).

In fact, when TB! launch, it is focused on the latest used folder,
displaying it on the upper of the windows. Even if it leaves blank
lines in the bottom.

I noticed this behaviour in .17, an I confirm in .18 .
In fact, I had the problem for many versions ago !

I would like to add another point: on my computers, the loading of
external picture "hangs" TB!, and I must wait the end of loading
picture to go forward.
Do you notice this behaviour ?

2008-04-08 Thread Francis Dhumes
Hello Tbbeta,

since yesterday morning (about 08:00 CET) I receive the mails from
tbbeta and tbudl twice. Is this a problem with my mail provider (and I
have to fix it with him), or is this a common behaviour ?
