For some known reasons, I cannot reply to the mailinglist directly, hence this email. The Chinese bug you mentioned has been there for a long time. Occasionally it works, but most of the time it doesn't. BTW, I'm still using v4. The buggy search in Chinese is the reason why I ended up buying Archvarius 3000. It can read and archive many file formats, including thebat. It's a life-saver when it comes to search for info in my thebat email bases. :) Also, FWIW, I believe there are other bugs in thebat's search function. I'm pretty sure even when searching in English, thebat often fails to find the words. It's a horrible bug. Anyway, FYI. I doubt Ritlabs can do much about it. They have a Chinese distributor in Mainland China. If the distributor cannot get Ritlabs to fix it, it's hard to be optimistic. -- Best regards, Anthony Chou ===8===End of original message text=== -- Best regards, Miles Changmailto:drift...@gmx.com Translator of Chinese The Bat! [-] Fixed an error EPostMessageZeroHandle in dial-up connections. [+] Authentication for HTTP proxy. The Bat! support three methods of autentication: Diges, NTLM and Basic. It seems that the timestamping of s/mime is broken since v4.0.34.6, IIRC. Would you please look into it? BTW, this message is signed, but it has no timestamping info. -- Best regards, Miles Changmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Translator of Chinese The Bat! Hello Maxim, Thursday, September 18, 2008, 10:39:16 AM, you wrote: Just a clarification; Socks4/Socks5 are used only for fetching/sending e-mail or for downloading images as well? (assuming of course that HTTP Proxy is not enabled) SOCKS is for all types of connections: mail and http. Can we get seperated proxy setting for each accounts? Just like the network dialup setting, each accounts can have its own dialup different from the global one. -- Best regards, Miles Changmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Translator of Chinese The Bat!
