IMHO, that implementation would have maximum flexibility. Imaging following

This is what users have asked about. The users wanted month names and week
names in the message list to correspond to the language of The Bat!
interface, for uniformity. Theoretically, we can add an additional option in
the preferences dialog to use Windows default language rather than language
setting of The Bat!, but that be too many options, don't you think? Do you
think that this option to use Windows language rather than The Bat! language

IMHO, giving us an option to use English date/time format to override

===8==Original message text===
Hi there,

I'm replying to you regarding the Chinese issue in thebat. For some known
reasons, I cannot reply to the mailinglist directly, hence this email.

The Chinese bug you mentioned has been there for a long time. Occasionally it
works, but most of the time it doesn't. BTW, I'm still using v4. The buggy
search in Chinese is the reason why I ended up buying Archvarius 3000. It can
read and archive many file formats, including thebat. It's a life-saver when it
comes to search for info in my thebat email bases. :)

Also, FWIW, I believe there are other bugs in thebat's search function. I'm
pretty sure even when searching in English, thebat often fails to find the
words. It's a horrible bug.

Anyway, FYI. I doubt Ritlabs can do much about it. They have a Chinese
distributor in Mainland China. If the distributor cannot get Ritlabs to fix it,
it's hard to be optimistic.

?[-] Address group properties dialog couldn't be opened in the previous beta

confirm as fixed.

BTW, since MicroEd has already supported unicode, proportional font etc, why
don't you remove the windows editor from TB now?

What timestamp server URL did you specify in Opetions|S/MIME and what kind
 MS or RFC.

http://timestamp.verisign.com/scripts/timstamp.dll, and Timestamp Algorithm is
RFC-3161

This URL doesn't support RFC-3161, pleae try MS and let me know the results.

This message is timestamped by
http://timestamp.verisign.com/scripts/timstamp.dll with MS algorithm.

BTW, would you please give me some timestamping server which can support

 What's new in 4.0.34.7 since 4.0.34.6:
[+] Keyboard layout indicator for the change password dialog.
[-] Fixed an error EPostMessageZeroHandle in dial-up connections.
[+] Authentication for HTTP proxy. The Bat! support three methods of
 autentication: Diges, NTLM and Basic.

It seems that the timestamping of s/mime is broken since v4.0.34.6, IIRC. Would
you please look into it?

BTW, this message is signed, but it has no timestamping info.

SOCKS is for all types of connections: mail and http.

Can we get seperated proxy setting for each accounts? Just like the network
dialup setting, each accounts can have its own dialup different from the global
one.
