I have no idea of what the problem may be. Perhaps some sitting in the
Registry? From what I have seen, it looks like your were "playing" with
some alternative splash screens ,

Are you starting TB from a shortcut? If so, do you have /NOLOGO as a
parameter?

I can confirm this and, in my specific case, I am glad it behaves this
way. At least until there is (or I find) a way to modify some of the PNG
