I agree. TB only allows the construct: If (A contains X) .OR. (B contains X) but there is no way (I think)to do: If ((A .OR. B) contains X) -- Best regards, Miguel A. What he probably means is: - Create a Virtual folder and associate it with an address book entry. All mails to/from all the email addresses in the address book entry hould be shown in the VF - If you update the email addresses in the address book entry(because a person gets a new address for instance) the virtual folder should automatically show the messages to/from the new address as well. Btw: I how to create a VF and configure this manually, but that means that a new address has to be added a couple of times: - in the address book - in a VF filter condition for Sender - in a VF filter condition for Receiver By the way: I would love to see a rule for VFs so you can filter on Sender or Receiver in one condition. Most of my VFs are used to show mail from/to people and I have to duplicate the email address in each VF Filter. I tried to work around this by specifying that the header contains an email address, but that makes the VFs VERY slow. -- Robert van der Hulst [EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! 4.0.0.6 (ALPHA) on Windows Vista.6.0.6000 Current beta is 3.99.29 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

The history will be more useful for the time when you aren't sure of the email address and don't have an email from the person at hand. In such cases, a history will be what you need. -- Gleason Current beta is 3.99.29 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Yes, some way to quickly and easily limit entries. It is however, a history, so some bloat should be expected. I don't like the address book idea, since I don't use the address book and don't see a way in program setup to automatically add addresses that I respond or write to. Perhaps an option to limit entries to address book or entries in the view history button on new message address lines. But allow a full history if the user needs that. The newly introduced feature is great. But i think needs to be enhanced. For example, i see thousands of addresses in"adress tab..The main reason for bulky results orijinates from "cc" contacts unrelated to me. I mean "Mr. X" sends an email to " 50 contacts" . Hello group, I have posted an enhancement request for the 'Address History' tab: I would like to see the entries from my address book there in stead of a collection of email addresses from the email history.
