Even the folders that would not keep flags after reboot sessions now hold any flags I set, so I'm a _VERY_ happy camper. TB makes me excited and joyous today! It's still the world's best email program, IMHO. Thanks for fixing whatever you or someone else did. Really, thanks! Is SP anyone else seeing this?Did anyone else notice this in even earlier SP betas? No, I have not noticed that and I use flags a lot. Every message that I still need to reply to but can't immediately, gets flagged. A Replied Filter will delete the flag. At the end of the business day, I'll check for messages still flagged. This is not only to get my desk cleared before go home, but also so that any unreplied messages are still in the Virutal flagged folder when we have a black-out (which happens every month or two). SP TB is the most critical software program I've ever used, for more SP than 10 years. It would be great if the developer's believed how SP important it could really be, to a much, much larger mass of SP people, worldwide, than it is now. Well, it's important for me too and I have not experienced any problems. The only thing is that in the 5.x versions, when I flag a message in thread view, all messages in the same thread below that are flagged too. I find that annoying but that is not as crucial as the problem you mention. -- Cheers, Thomas. http://thomas.fernandez.hat-gar-keine-homepage.de/ Message reply created with The Bat! 5.3.2.5 (BETA) under Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 3 Current beta is 5.3.2.5 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Gladly, but a large hurricane is bearing down on the US East Coast where I'm at right now, it may be a few days before I can get back to the list. But, I will do so. Haven't heard from you for a while, glad to see you're still flapping TB's wings. Is SP anyone else seeing this?Did anyone else notice this in even earlier SP betas? ST Could you please add more details? Quick answer: I have folders, IMAP-on-Gmail (thebat.net) that have, say, 100 files. Maybe 3 have flags. If I mark any more flags in the foldere, the new flags don't survive a clean shutdown-then-restart of TB. So, I can't trust the flagging, because it isn't reliable. It doesn't stick. Now I'm back on 5.2.2, which doesn't have the problem. I'll step through the betas since then, to see where the problem starts, and I'll test in multiple folders, ASAP.
