Re: IMAP users: auto disconnect
Hello Vili, Friday, July 8, 2005, 11:40:19 PM, you wrote: V So, something is reset or set when you open and close the Properties V window with the OK button (if you are connected, you have to manually V disconnect before you try it). Further to this when I first tried this I had mine setup as in the attached screenshot. In this case it did not matter what I did it would not fetch the correct number of unread mails. It would however disconnect after 5 seconds every time. -- Stuartmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v3.51 on Windows 98 4.10 Build A ScreenShot001.png Description: PNG image Current beta is 3.51 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/

Hi Vili, --On Saturday, July 09, 2005 3:36 PM -0400 you wrote in part: Exactly, I have read this in the RFC, also :) I should have known :))) What I meant was that the disconnect command is sent to the IMAP server, but my server does not accept it for some reason, i.e. does not answer, while in Stuart case, that does answer... I too have had variable responses with this and TB! It is not consistent, and sometimes will work and sometimes not. Conversely, I also have had quick disconnects from the IMAP server for no apparent reason, with no input from me; it will just disconnect.. all other clients I use work fine. :( However, I tested on two servers :))) It is not the server fault as you probably surmised. :) -- Gary Current beta is 3.51 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
