Yes - and I already have commented. I have communicated with Stuart
off-list and there is nothing, zero, nada, zilch he can do about the
footer his company email servers add to his outbound mail. Since he
is allowed to ask questions here and since he uses a properly
delimiting cut mark and since he has also agreed to add a disclaimer
disclaiming the disclaimer (!) to his name, I think the most useful
and sensible thing to do is accept it as a "blind eye this time"
thing. If he was doing it deliberately and by choice I would ban him
in an instant but he's as frustrated about it as we all are.

Why should anyone want that? Even Stuart doesn't _want_ this footer to
appear. What would _you_ want to advertise? ;-)

If it's about the usability of TBBETA, then IMHO this footer doesn't
threaten it and can thus be tolerated. I don't believe that any other
member will add long footers deliberately, just because this one was
accepted. *S*

OK fine, lets all start advertising. If the rules and regs can be changed
or ignored for one, then they can be ignored for all.

I've been on this list for a few years now and spam has NEVER been
tolerated whatever the reason... Why start now?

I don't care either way, his address has just been added to my spam list
and I don't see his posts anymore. I just feel a bit let down by the
  moderators decision to allow it.

  Any moderator care to comment?

Oh, come on. Let's be more tolerant. It is easy to ignore, when you know
why it appears, isn't it? Besides, the sig delimiter does work
correctly, so it is grayed out here anyway! *S*
