TB Hello Alexey,

TB A reminder of what Alexey N. Vinogradov on TBBETA typed on:
TB 02 January 2005 at 03:44:44 GMT +0100

ANV hm... msvcrt6 (or, 60) may be... The rest (like mfc42.dll) is present in
the
ANV system by default

TB Maybe on a Windows system but I'm talking Linux. That's why I need to know
TB the specific dll's used by Bayesit so I can put them there manually from
TB my XP machine.

Below is the image from PE-explorer. It is the full list, except mfc42.dll (it
was highlighted when I got skinshot, and was missed when saving to 2-color gif).

B I received a notice of default settings created. I saw the notice for
B bayesit plugin starting, that changed almost immediately to bayesit

B starting. After maybe 5 seconds The Bat! crashed.

Could you, please, check this one:
http://www.ritlabs.com/download/bayesit/bayesit0710.rar

Use the logger included into archive as

bayeslogger c:\templog.txt

Run it BEFORE you will do something with The Bat! and bayesit. It will write
into redirected file all what happens inside initialization of BayesIt (or, if
you set no file, it will just show it on the screen).

ANV I try to fix the rest of bugs before The Bat! release - please, help me
to clean
ANV up the bugs.

My main problems with BayesIt seem to be addressed, but the real
issue still seems to exist. This is the act that too much spam is
still getting through. As some have mentioned the Nigerian scam still
gets through on a regular basis. Even messages with Viagra in the
Subject line occasionally get through.

My question is, does BayesIt look at the subject line for key words
and if it does, is there or could there be, more importance placed on
words found in the subject line than in the body. It seems that you
can have a title that is obvious spam that gets through because of a
bunch of irrelevant words in the body.

TM There are several (a lot) more. Also the coinsidence that Ritlabs

TM Can't Ritlabs do one on its own. So go on and take the Plugin FAQ from

I don't know how to check the timestamp on the site (because these page are

/ru/solutions/BayesIt.php on the site (since english one is just translated and
a bit changed russian). Now I am preparing the advanced settings page - which
will reflect /ru/solutions/bayesitadv.php.

B time no crash.

B So, it seems the problem with the crash lies with the initial setup of the
plugin.

Had bayesit written any own logs? If yes, it may clear the situation..
