Hello Roger, Pressing down arrow does nothing here! KV Because you are using the Windows editor. We are talking about KV MicroEd (check yesterday's mail in the thread). We hope so Vili, but it is difficult when different things happen on different computers! It is better if we can tell them why, or when, the differences occur. It seems that here the down arrow key only malfunctions when the editor has been completely cleared by Ctrl+A. That is enough to point Ritlabs to the right directions, I think. In this reply it is working normally, but will not go below the bottom line of my signature.(I'm not sure whether this WAD) Hmmm... It _always_ go beyond the last line at me using MicroEd. It is the Windows Editor, where it cannot go beyond the last line. I have been searching for the reason for our difference and have now discovered it. The option 'Free caret positioning' has to be turned *ON* for the behaviour you and Vili have. All I can say is that I seem to have a freak system on which it doesn't happen. It's like someone reports a bug which nobody can confirm but it is persistent on his system. Only the other way around. Maybe I just don't understand what you want to say. JF - see if Scrollbar appears and First Line Disappears I cur your reply even short (makred the line above and hit F4), so that no scrollbar is there when the editor opens. The moment I go down below the sig enough to exceed the window height, the first line disappears and the scrollbar appears. It works as expected over here. We use MicroEd. You must use Windows Editor. At us, when you DONT exceed the window height, even then the scrollbar appears. But then, I'm also using 4.0.18.6 now. Maybe the bug has been fixed?
