Did so and it was removed correctly from The TB Window.

But you are using a router on a LAN... Why have you selected Dial up
Connection instead of Local Area Connection?

Confirmed. Just had the error message, I set up a dialler set the bat
to use that deleted it, all seemed fine until I tried to send a can't
confirm message when the error started coming up.

I can not de-select it there, as there is only the choice for the
still existing (even if I do not use it) dial-up connection. Even if I
make random changes in this dialog, the registry entry remains the
same. (see PNG)

TB! freezes if "RAS Dial Entry" contains an invalid entry

2006-12-31 Thread Hendrik Oesterlin
Hello List,

I have in the Registry the following entries concerning RAS:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RIT\The Bat!]
"RAS Top"=dword:0031
"RAS Left"=dword:003d
"RAS Height"=dword:027d
"RAS Width"=dword:03af
"RAS Task Height"=dword:0097
"RAS Detail Height"=dword:0173
"Ras Details"=dword:0001
"RAS Dial Entry"="Can'l"
"RAS Automatic"=dword:
"RAS Login Override"=dword:
"RAS Login Name"=""
"RAS Login Pwd"=""
"RAS Login Domain"=""
"Use Existing RAS Connection"=dword:0001
"RAS Always Auto Disconnect"=dword:

I think, that only the entry

"RAS Dial Entry"="Can'l"

is of importance here. "Can'l" was the name of a dial-in-connection I
used some years ago, but it does not longer exist.

I am using ADSL via an Olitec NAT-router and PCI LAN card.

To make TB! freezing, I have to follow this steps:

1.) Select a common virtual folder

2.) exit TheBat

3.) Re-start TheBat, the selection shopuld still be at the common
virtual folder, as it was the folder selected at closing: I obtain
the following error Message:

"Konnte den Eitrag "Can'l" nicht anwählen.
Prüfen Sie Ihre Einwahl-Einstellungen, und versuchen Sie es nochmals.
OK"
(in english somewhat like: "Could not dial in using the entry "Can'l"
Check your settings and try again") see also attached Screen shot.

4.) After clicking OK I obtain the following access violation:

---
The Bat!
---
Access violation at address . Read of address .
---
OK
---

5.) After clicking OK again, i can move in my folders without problem.

6.) Hit F11 to check all accounts. The Connection Manager opens as
expected, but after a couple of seconds, TheBat is frozen. Only the
Task manager will kill TheBat.

Confirmations?
